Marvel Studios’ has officially wrapped filming, according to star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The legendary actress recently sat down with the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, where she confirmed that the film had finished its production last week. Despite the news, Louis-Dreyfus couldn’t divulge too much about the move, as is tradition with any MCU film.
“When you work with these people, you have to sign a NDA every three-and-a-half seconds,” joked the actress, who went on to praise the movie and the cast she got to work with. “Loved [the production]. I got to work with really cool people, who we already know are in the film. Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell. It was pretty dreamy.”
Louis-Dreyfus also briefly discussed how she even got involved in something like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the star, she met with MCU head Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito, both of whom loved her work in the hit comedies Seinfeld and Veep. It was then that they asked if she’d ever be interested in doing something for Marvel.

“I had a meeting with Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito, who run Marvel. They were big Seinfeld and Veep fans. I think they just wanted to talk about those shows,” said Louis-Dreyfus. “I went in and we were hanging around, talking about that episode and this episode. It just came up; they said, ‘Would you ever want to do something?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, it’d be so much fun, and my boys would freak out.’ That’s how it began.”
As for her role as the enigmatic Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Louis-Dreyfus loved the character due to her mysterious nature.
“I like who she is, as a character, which is mysterious. Is she good, is she bad? It’s a little bit unclear. I like the idea of her maybe being a little bit of a puppet master. I liked that they were kind of just dropping her into different projects a little bit here, a little bit there,” Louis-Dreyfus said.
