Marvel's Iron Man and Thor are quite different in terms of powers, abilities and backstory, but the two characters are often paired up in fights — and occasionally, the two become one. Tony Stark's science and Thor's magic mixes together in Infinity Wars #3, and as is the case with other «amalgamated» characters, the best elements of both are taken to form the Iron Hammer, a superhero combined as a result of Gamora's machinations with the Infinity Stones. The Iron Hammer makes some adjustments to Mjolnir which fixes a massive flaw in the hammer's original design.
In Norse mythology, Thor's hammer did not possess any magical properties and couldn't anchor itself to the ground at all. Tony/Thor carries, along with his magi-tech armor, a long-handled Mjolnir.
In both the Norse legend and Marvel continuity, Mjolnir has quite a short handle, and can only be realistically wielded with one hand. This naturally
