It turns out that Black Panther's secretive nation of Wakanda has its own school dedicated to the training of young warlocks. For centuries, the isolationist nation of Wakanda has ensured the outside world knew nothing of its science and technology, its culture and arts, and — most important of all — the precious secret of Wakanda's vibranium deposits. T'Challa is the first king of Wakanda to begin to open his country's borders to the outside world, although not all his people are persuaded that's a good thing.
Wakanda's isolationism doesn't just affect its relationship with the rest of the world; it also affects how it interacts with the superhuman community. Black Panther is currently leader of the Avengers, but they're clearly at arm's length. Meanwhile, only a single Wakandan mutant was ever sent to Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. What's more, there are no Wakandan sorcerers at Doctor Strange's Strange Academy, Marvel's version of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Marvel's Voices: Legacy reveals Wakanda has its own way of training sorcerers. The anthology book contains a short story by Natacha Bustos called «Wanna Play?» Starring Shuri, it sees the Princess of Wakanda confront a young sorcerer; King T'Challa intervenes in the end, impressed at the girl's potential. "How would you like to join the training program for young warlocks?" he asks, to the child's delight. It's the first time the comics have confirmed Wakanda even has this training program.
