Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been the subject of a multitude of different leaks in the last few weeks. Now yet another Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leak has surfaced stating that the game is planning to make changes to how matchmaking is dealt with in multiplayer.
Just over a week ago, a leaker claimed to reveal details regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer mode. The leak suggested that movement in the upcoming game will be slower than it was in Call of Duty: Vanguard yet faster than in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019. The leaker also allegedly revealed some of the killstreaks set to be in the game, which included the classic UAV, Sentry, Chopper Gunner, and a new killstreak called «Soundwave» that is said to distort the hearing of other players when activated.

The latest leak surrounding the franchise has come from reputable Call of Duty leaker RalphsValve. The leaker noted that the series could be making changes to the game's skill-based matchmaking, which has been a controversial feature for some time. Fans have not had an issue with the feature in general, however, many of them wish it would only appear in a ranked game mode.
Currently, skill-based matchmaking features in the normal Call of Duty multiplayer mode, which means that players are likely to face other equally skilled players in every match they play. This can make it difficult to enjoy the game as most players can face a serious challenge every time they log on, but it is now possible that this could be changed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
