An Elden Ring player has used the game's character creation options to recreate David Schwimmer's Ross from the classic sitcom Friends. The process of creating a character and leveling them up in Elden Ringis similar to other FromSoftware titles, and the ability to customize and direct these characters' progress is something that is lauded by many fans of these games.
Although FromSoftware's previous title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice featured a preset protagonist, Elden Ring offered a vast array of personalization options. Players begin by selecting which class they would like to assume, which determines their starting gear and stats, though it doesn't lock them into a certain style of play for the entirety of the game. After this, however, is where the deeper customization begins. Like with so many other RPGs, players can choose their character's gender, hairstyle, body type, skin color, and much more. There are even options presented for the character's voice — which only comes through in the form of grunts and yells during combat. Thanks to this bevy of options, Elden Ring players can make terrifying or beautiful characters to their hearts' content.

The post, which contains a screenshot of the custom character beside a photo of Friends-era Schwimmer, is titled "I Rolled a Geller". This is likely referring to the act of selecting the "randomize" option during the character creation process, which randomly assigns various sliders and options.
