Love Is Blind 2: Why Iyanna Is Right About Jarrette's Partying Life

Jarrette Jones was shown partying a little too much even after getting engaged to Iyanna McNeely on Love Is Blind season 2, so she might have a point that he needs to slow down that lifestyle if they get married on the show. During his interactions with Mallory Zapata in the pods, Jarrette did talk a lot about going out with his friends to watch games and party it up. With Iyanna, though, he had deeper conversations about family, starting a relationship, and getting married.
It didn't take long for Iyanna to realize in Mexico that Jarrette was a lot more extroverted than she was. He quickly bonded with Shayne Jansen and developed a «bromance» with most of the guys in the cast. Once Jarrette and Iyanna moved back to Chicago, it also became clear that he enjoyed going out on a pretty regular basis with his friends every week. This isn't necessarily what Iyanna's lifestyle looks like, which was something that she noted during a conversation with him.

Being engaged — or married — doesn't mean that a person isn't allowed to go out with his or her own friends, but based on what was shown on Love Is Blind season 2, Jarrette did party it up a little bit too often if he's going to commit to a person that isn't as big of a partier as he is. At one point, Iyanna joked that she didn't expect Jarrette would've gone out Monday through Friday. Even if she exaggerated a little while making her point, it did lead fans to believe that Jarrette indeed goes out on a very regular basis that would be incompatible with Iyanna as his fiancée and potential wife.
