Thor: Love and Thunder'smovie theater adventure is finally coming to an end, as MCU's latest blockbuster will bolster Disney Plus' content library in just a couple of weeks.
The announcement was made official by Disney and Marvel's Twitter accounts, with the streaming release being set for September 8, exactly two months after the movie originally hit theaters in most parts of the world. With that, Thor: Love and Thunder will become part of the company’s Disney Plus Day celebration that will see it coincide with the new live-action Pinocchio, a new She-Hulk episode, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return, and Pixar's Cars on the Road series.

With that, Thor: Love and Thunder slightly surpasses Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' theatre-to-streaming window, with the latter coming just short of a seven-week period. Clearly, the god of Thunder will not be the streaming service's headliner on that date, as Tom Hanks' Pinocchio, directed by Robert Zemeckis, takes the spotlight ahead of Marvel Studios' movie offering.
