A Marvel fan has shared edited images of Christian Bale's Gorr from Thor: Love and Thunder that imagine the villain with his comic-accurate head tails. Bale plays the God-slaying alien warrior in Taika Waitit's sequel to Thor: Ragnarok. The actor stars alongside Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, and Waititi himself.
Created by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic, Gorr debuted in 2013's Thor: God of Thunder #1 as a member of an unspecified alien race that was deeply devoted to their gods. But due to personal tragedies like the loss of his loved ones, Gorr's faith is shattered to the point that he vowed to kill all gods for their lack of assistance to those who worshipped them. Taking Knull, God of the Symbiote's, All-Black Necrosword, Gorr became known as Gorr the God Butcher. After numerous merchandise reveals, Gorr finally made his live-action debut in a recently released trailer for the upcoming Thor sequel, though some viewers took issue with certain changes from his comic-book look. Now, however, one fan has imagined how Bale would look if his design were more faithful to the comics.

Taking various individual shots from the recently released trailer, the original artist removed the prominent nose from Bale's Gorr and added the comic book tails at the back of his head in shots where they would be visible. Alongside the original post and artwork, AnotherMarvelGuy also shared a poll in the replies, asking other fans which design they felt suited Bale's Gorr best.
