As announced on the official website, the first card to receive an errata correction is Bucky — Squirrel Squeak Tutor, released as part of the first expansion. As an Uncommon card, the second-lowest rarity in , Bucky has never been difficult to acquire, but he packed a lot of utility into a card that only costs two lore. Bucky forces discards on opponents whenever the user plays a Floodborn character, and with the Ward ability that blocks challenges, he can be difficult to remove from the board in order to avoid further discards.
With the expansion, this power became especially problematic, and is now taking steps to address the problem. A new version of Bucky — Squirrel Squeak Tutor raises the cost to 3 while nerfing the card in multiple regards. Floodborn cards must be played with Shift to force a discard, and the Ward protection that previously made him so annoying
