The lineup of games that will be showcased live on-stage at Gamescom Opening Night Live later this month is growing more stacked by the day, and another major title has now been added to that growing list.
Producer and host Geoff Keighley recently took to Twitter and revealed that Capcom will showcase a new look at Monster Hunter Wilds at Gamescom Opening Night Live later this month. The show, as previously announced, is scheduled for August 20 at 11 AM Pacific.
Recent days have also seen Capcom revealing new gameplay trailers for Monster Hunter Wilds, showcasing many of its weapons, mechanics, and more.
The action RPG joins other major titles confirmed for Gamescom Opening Night Live, including Civilization 7, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Little Nightmares developer Tarsier Studios’ next game, and potentially the announcement of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020.
Monster Hunter Wilds is due out in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A specific release date is currently unknown.
