It also includes a Lucky Hit bonus that causes the player to lose all of their Resource (akin to mana or MP), making it actively dangerous to use in battle.
The Ring of Misfortune can only be obtained when five players, each of a different base class, each throw a Lucky Coin into the Wishing Well in Scosglen. This results in a meteor shower, after which everyone involved can pick up the unique item. It's a fun little secret quest, but its true significance is still up for debate.
