German YouTuber 'Digital Dreams have released a new graphical showcase', showing Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 running with over 100 mods on an NVIDIA RTX 4090.
We've seen plenty of videos from the German YouTuber, complete with his own custom Beyond All Limits ReShade Ray Tracing preset, and today we wanted to show his latest video in which he shows off a heavily-modded Red Redemption 2. The result is staggering and could provide a glimpse of what can be achieved with Rockstar's upcoming Grand Theft Auto sequel, GTA 6.
As most of you will know, having been released in 2018/2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as PC, the Red Dead sequel remains a last-gen title. Of course, as with GTA 5, the modding community has gone to great lengths to make the game even better looking, and the game remains of the best-looking open-world titles to date. With both RDR2 and GTA 5 looking great on PC, one might fantasize about Rockstar's next title, most likely Grand Theft Auto 6, which is rumored to be released next year for PC and the current-gen consoles.
Of course, Red Dead Redemption 2 remains a last-gen title, but this thickly-modded showcase might provide a glimpse of what's currently possible on current-gen hardware. As said, this video shows the game running with over 100 mods, including the Dynamic Seasons mod, the Improved Wildlife mod, a photo mode enhancer, a community fix for graphical issues, a realistic combat overhaul modification, a mod that removes the vignette effect, a crime & law rebalance mod, and many more. The full list of used modifications can be downloaded from Nexusmods here.
Down below you'll find the new Red Dead Redemption 2 graphical showcase. Check it out and judge for yourself.
