A new clip from episode 4 of The Sandman previews Dream meeting with Lucifer Morningstar and the latest live-action take on Mazikeen. While Warner Bros. TV has brought multiple DC characters to life on various platforms as shows, their latest entry is going to be a whole different thing. After being stuck in development hell as a feature film, Warner Bros. is bringing The Sandman to Netflix as a new original series based on Neil Gaiman's beloved characters.
The Sandman chronicles the journeys of the Endless, the famous family that represents power and crucial concepts of the universe. That includes members like Death, Desire, Destiny, and Despair. Morpheus, a.k.a. Dream, who was imprisoned for over 100 years, makes his return in modern times, only to discover that his kingdom is now gone. The Sandman will explore Dream having to start a new chapter in his life in trying to restore the realm of The Dreaming.
