A new piece of fan art shows the Predator hunting down Star Wars stormtroopers in the jungle. Yautja, better known as Predators, are an extraterrestrial species introduced in the 1987 film Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers. Stormtroopers predate the creatures by a decade and have become one of the most recognizable groups in the Star Wars universe. Stormtroopers have been included in most Star Wars movies and TV shows as cannon fodder and are usually the butt of jokes because of their poor shots.

Expectations for The Predator were higher than previous installments since Shane Black, who played Hawkins in the original, was the director, yet even his movie failed to live up to the 80s classic. Still, Predator has remained a recognizable character in pop culture, having crossovers with Batman in the pages of Dark Horse Comics and Alien's Xenomorphs in Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem.
