Oscar Isaac reveals the one scene he regrets was cut from Moon Knight episode 6. Hitting Disney+ earlier this year, Moon Knight follows Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who also serves as the avatar for Egyptian Moon God Khonshu (F. Murray Abraham). The show was a hit with both audiences and critics, with many praising Isaac's powerful performance and the show's inventive, honest portrayal of his condition. Although there has been no official confirmation that Moon Knight will return for season 2, the show's mid-credits scene and the introduction of another Spector personality, Jake Lockley, has fueled speculation that the show could return.
Perhaps more so than other MCU Disney+ shows, Moon Knight explores its main character in deep, sometimes dark ways. Towards the end of the show, it's revealed that Spector created his other personality, Steven Grant, as a result of the traumatic death of his brother and the abuse suffered at the hands of his mother. As he comes to terms with the events of his past, villain Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) unleashes the Egyptian god Ammit (Saba Mubarak) from her tomb, and a fight ensues. After locking Ammit in Harrow's body, Spector and Grant eventually get Khonshu to release them from his service.
