Warning: contains spoilers for Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood #2!
Marvel's Moon Knight has four separate individual personalities within the body of Marc Spector — and his four alters have a plan to keep the body of their host safe. One of the most prominent superheroes with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Spector is used to battling ancient evils and supernatural supervillains. But in Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood #2, the Fist of Khonshu reveals a unique strategy for maintaining Marc's health.
It is important to note that Moon Knight's many personalities were initially portrayed in comics as simple secret identities for the character to use while fighting crime. Steven Grant was a way to find connections with the rich and famous, while Jake Lockley was a streetwise cabbie who kept his ear to the ground (and built a fearsome reputation). Only later in the character's history were these alternate identities written as actual, separate personalities, and Moon Knight's DID was officially solidified in Marvel Comics canon.
