Turn-based strategy and stealth-infiltration in a pulp story adventure? It can only be The Lamplighters League.

Nothing beats a tactical turn-based game when you're looking to stretch your grey matter at a more relaxed pace, and developer Harebrained Schemes is venturing into that space later this year with The Lamplighters League on PC. This golden age adventure is now available for preorder at Green Man Gaming, with the standard edition marked down to $44.59 (normally $50) and the Deluxe edition retailing for $52 (normally $65). Both editions unlock as Steam keys. Naturally, the Deluxe edition has several extras and this version comes with the exclusive playable character Nocturne, the game's original soundtrack, and a digital art book.
Set in an alternate 1930s, The Lamplighter's League puts a fresh spin on its genre by allowing you to sneak into enemy territory and set up an optional position to out-maneuver your foes before you start throwing down in strategic turn-based combat. A tyrannical cult called the Banished Court is on the verge of world domination and only a band of heroic scholars known as the Lamplighters League can stop the cult before it's too late in this new game from the creators of The Shadowrun Trilogy and Battletech.
Faced with would-be dictators, the only way to stop the worst of the worst is to recruit the best of the worst before the Banished Court does, a collection of misfits and scoundrels with unique abilities who can engage in real-time infiltration and turn-based tactical combat. You'll have to use every advantage and dirty trick in the book to defeat the Banished Court, and every mission earns your team new resources and grows their abilities.
