In Reckoning War: Trial of the Watcher #1 by Marvel Comics, the Watchers put Uatu on trial, who showed him what would have happened without his intervention on Earth during 'The Coming of Galactus.' The answer: he made things worse than they actually would have played out.
In one of the Fantastic Four's most classic stories from Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, Uatu the Watcher broke his promise of non-interference when he tried to protect the Earth from the Silver Surfer and Galactus' arrival. Ultimately, he played a vital role in the Fantastic Four obtaining the Ultimate Nullifier and preventing the Devourer of Worlds from feeding on the planet and destroying Earth and all of its inhabitants. However, Marvel just revealed things would have gone even better for humanity without Uautu's intervention.
