There are so many Funko Pops that whether you're a new collector just starting out or a seasoned vet looking to branch out, I'd recommend either picking fandoms you like and sticking to them, or simply grabbing figures you like from across the board. Regardless of which of those avenues sounds more appealing, any Muppets Pops you find should be must-buys, as should any figures you find that can be used to recreate popular memes. Lucky for you, there's a new two-pack coming that ticks both those boxes.
Not officially announced by Funko or Disney just yet, the first image of a Kermit and Constantine Funko Pop! two-pack found its way onto social media over the weekend. Seemingly set to become a Hot Topic exclusive soon, the two-pack includes a regular Kermit the Frog figure as well as a Funko recreation of a character many of you likely refer to as Evil Kermit. Surprise, that isn't his real name.
The hooded version of Kermit is called Constantine and was introduced to Muppets lore in Muppets Most Wanted in which he confronts Kermit. The over-the-shoulder image of Constantine became a meme two years after the movie in which the character was introduced, used as a way to demonstrate a voice in people's heads telling them to do something they shouldn't. Not saying which, but I still don't have a dog.
Since the incoming two-pack includes Kermit and Constantine, you'll be able to arrange them in a way that looks like the meme come to life right there on your Funko shelf. Keep it somewhere you'll see it regularly though, and you may run the risk of your Evil Kermit influencing your actions more than usual. I don't see the meme as much as I did a few years ago, but seeing it every time I look up may result in me eating more cheesecakes that aren't mine moving forward.
