Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is closing the door on the fourth year of its seasonal content cycle with the launch of Season 11. Titled Reign of Fire, this season will see players take on a new squad of Black Tusk who are trying to bring The Division down, farm new gear pieces, seek out an infamous exotic armor from the first Division title, and much more. While the update isn't as massive as most players were expecting, Season 11 of The Division 2 is nonetheless crucial for both the storyline and the actual longevity of the game.
Released in 2019, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 wasn't as popular as its predecessor but did garner a dedicated fan following, which prompted Ubisoft to support the game with a full-scale expansion and 10 seasons of additional content. After the launch of Warlords of New York expansion, The Division 2 switched to a seasonal model, opting for a 3-4 month window where players would face off against new storyline targets, farm new gear pieces, and even engage in new endgame PvE activities. Season 11's arrival is quite timely, as The Division 2 was finally released on Steam on January 12, 2023, due to Ubisoft's exclusivity deal with Epic Games coming to an end.
