In the most prominent role of her young acting career, English musical artist FKA Twigs will co-star in The Crow reboot. After spending years in development hell cycling through lead actors, directors, writers, and production companies, the modern adaptation of James O'Barr's graphic novel about a resurrected avatar of vengeance will see life again. Ed Pressman, a producer of the 1994 film by Alex Proyas, recently announced that a new cast and crew for The Crow reboot would be revealed "in the near future," and the hirings are now coming through at breakneck speed.
Rupert Sanders, a savvy commercial and short film director, will helm the project after stints on Snow White and the Huntsman and the 2017 American remake of Ghost in the Shell. Zach Baylin wrote the script and is an attractive hire after his Oscar nomination for King Richard. Pressman returns to the franchise as a producer, joined by Malcolm Gray (co-producer on 21 Bridges), with a $50 million (estimated) production aimed to begin in June in Prague and Munich. Most notably, the role of Eric Draven will finally go to It and John Wick 4 star Bill Skarsgård after nearly a decade of attempts to lock down the character's revival.

Skarsgård will look to honor the character that immortalized the late Brandon Lee's on-screen career, a nigh-invincible being seeking revenge for his fallen fiancée.
