Carrey's 1994 was one of the best years for any comic actor in history, with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber all becoming smash hits that have legions of fans even to this day. The comedian has had a prolific career, so the revelation of Jim Carrey's retirement is unfortunate news. However, Carrey has worked long and hard enough to make the world laugh for quite some time.
