The Boys star Karen Fukuhara reveals that season 3 will top season 2's gory whale scene. First released on Prime Video back in 2019, The Boys shocked audiences with its dark and twisted approach to the superhero genre. Full of graphic imagery, The Boys centers around Vought Industries, a corrupt conglomerate responsible for creating its own brand of superheroes, otherwise known as «supes.» Karl Urban stars as Billy Butcher, leader of The Boys, a group whose members harbor their own personal vendetta against Vought Industries and seek to take it down once and for all.
Alongside Urban and Fukuhara, The Boys stars Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, and Dominique McElligott. Season 3 is also set to introduce Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, with a recent teaser offering glimpses at the series' own adult version of Captain America. The Boys season 2 shocked audiences even more than season 1, in particular with one scene which involved Butcher driving a speedboat into a beached whale, leading to one of the show's goriest moments. Now, it seems The Boys will continue this tradition of one-upping its predecessor.
