Prime Video's dark and edgy superhero satire The Boys is back for season 3, having alternately delighted and horrified audiences with the first three episodes last week. While the Seven welcomed two new — or rather one new and one old — members into their crew amidst Homelander's (Antony Starr) rampaging reign, the self-styled Boys head to Russia to learn what became of the previous hero Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles).
Butcher (Karl Urban) has been busy trying to parent Becca's son Ryan and failing miserably, and has since turned to Temp V for some semblance of control. Hughie (Jack Quaid), meanwhile, has been happy in his relationship with Starlight (Erin Moriarty) even as circumstances require that he leave her in the lion's den with Homelander — and without protection. And Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) may not have a voice, but she's begun finding her voice and isn't so sure The Boys is who she wants to spend time with.
