The Boys Hints Only Starlight Can Beat Victoria Neuman

In Amazon Prime Video's TheBoys, the group is wary of Victoria Neuman's explosive ability, but the show also hints that Starlight is the perfect candidate to take the Congresswoman down. Neuman first appears to be anti-Supe, speaking out against Homelander and Vought's plans to put superheroes in the US military. But while Neuman's Supe status remains hidden for almost all of season 2, her assassination of the leader of the Church of the Collective, Alistair Adana (Goran Visnjic), eventually reveals her surprising allegiance to Vought and Stan Edgar.
Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) discovers Victoria Neuman's (Claudia Doumit) secret at the end of The Boys' season premiere when a suspicious man named Tony (Kyle Mac) attacks Victoria. Neuman uses her abilities to kill Tony as Hughie watches from behind a dumpster, but not before their fight reveals a major drawback to Neuman's powers. Hughie's revelation brings puts him in danger as Neuman's suspicions are aroused, but luckily Erin Moriarty's Starlight keeps Hughie from ending up like Tony.

Starlight is the only one that will be able to beat Victoria Neuman because her powers directly counter how Neuman's powers work. Tony and Victoria's fight at the of The Boys season 3 premiere revealed that Neuman's weakness is her eyes and that Neuman is unable to be precise with her volatile ability if she can't see what she is targeting. Starlight's light-based abilities are perfectly able to exploit this considerable weakness and may even be able to stop Neuman from claiming any more lives without bloodshed.
