The Boys Presents: Diabolical season 2 is still possible on Amazon Prime. The animated dark comedy superhero series premiered on the streaming platform back in March and serves as a spin-off of The Boys. Further exploring the series' universe, Diabolical employs eight animation styles to tell side stories of various different characters and their endeavors. Through its multiple episodes, the show has included the voices of Awkwafina, Don Cheadle, Michael Cera, Jason Isaacs, Kumail Nanjiani, Andy Samberg, Ben Schwartz, and others, in addition to The Boys stars Antony Starr and Chace Crawford portraying their characters from the live-action series.
Since its debut, Diabolical has garnered positive reactions from both fans and critics, with particular praise going to its humor and distinct visual style. Conversations surrounding a potential season 2 renewal have been made by the showrunner, Simon Racioppa, though there has been no official confirmation as of yet. In speaking about The Boys Diabolical season 2, Racioppa explained the vision he had for the show moving forward, saying that he would like the future episodes to be "completely new." He added that part of the appeal of Diabolical is that it offers something different from The Boys, teasing that if given the opportunity, it would not be "just eight episodes of eleven minutes again."
