The Boys season 3 cast and character guide. More than a year and a half after the season 2 finale, The Boys has returned to Prime Video for season 3. The series, created by Eric Kripke and adapted from the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, picks up a year after the explosive events of season 2 and its cast is better and bigger than ever.
The Boys season 2 left the characters in precarious situations, though it seemed like things were getting better. Stormfront was no longer a threat after Ryan dispatched her with his powers; Butcher joined Grace Mallory's taskforce; and Hughie teamed up with Congresswoman Victoria Neuman in a bid to stop Supes through legal means. The Boys season 3 sees the titular characters split up for a while before things start changing again and they have to regroup as Homelander becomes more dangerous.
