New promotional art and images for The Batman give a close-up look at Robert Pattinson’s Batmobile. Matt Reeves' reboot is perhaps the most anticipated movie of 2022. Inspired by comics like The Long Halloween and Batman: Year One, the film will follow Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne / Batman as a novice vigilante fighting crime in Gotham City.
Set outside the DC Extended Universe’s continuity, The Batman will introduce many new iterations of well-known characters to its isolated universe. In addition to “Battinson,” the film will feature Jeffrey Wright’s Jim Gordon, John Turturro’s Carmine Falcone, Zoë Kravitz's Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Colin Farrell’s Penguin, and Paul Dano’s Riddler — the latter of which will serve as its main villain. The Batman’s trailers and clips have showcased its gritty action sequences, unique cinematography, visceral score, and, of course, iconic Batman accessories.
