Batman/Catwoman Special #1 by Tom King, John Paul Leon, Bernard Chang, Shawn Crystal, Mitch Gerads, Dave Stewart and Clayton Cowles gives fans a look at a life that Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne could possibly have together. Despite having a family and growing old with someone he loves, Batman keeps trucking along with his operation. Though he fights well into his golden years, age eventually catches up to Bruce, causing him to wonder what it means for his vow to protect his city, with Selina informing Bruce "it means we won." The mission of Batman finally comes to an end when Bruce passes on and his wife grieves at a tombstone etched with the epitaph "Beloved Husband, Father & Son."
