The Batman: The Villains Robert Pattinson Wants To See In Potential Sequel

The dark knight finally returns to cinemas in March, and with plenty of positive buzz around it already, speculation on a sequel to The Batman is already in the air. While Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce The Batman 2, star Robert Pattinson knows exactly who he'd like to face off against if a follow-up film gets the green light.

«I'd love to do something like Court of Owls,» Pattinson said to Den of Geek, referencing the secret society that first appeared in Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's 2011 Batman comic book series and whose gothic aesthetic would fit well into director Matt Reeves' vision of Gotham City. «There are elements of The Batman which are kind of horror and I think it really feels quite new for Batman.»
