When it comes to killers in the Marvel Universe, Thanos and Carnage are probably some of the first names that come to mind. Carnage is the result of a symbiote bonding with serial killer Cletus Kasady, creating a rather scary villain in Spider-Man's rogue gallery. Thanos is a genocidal cosmic warlord best known for instantly wiping out half of all life in the universe. Imagine what would happen if they combined into one terrifying being.
Both characters revel in the spilling of blood, although they do it for different reasons. Carnage, being an insane and murderous psychopath, finds it entertaining and does it mostly for fun. Being a more orderly villain, Thanos kills to impress Death, when someone or something is in the way of a goal he is trying to achieve, or as punishment for failing him. The two have never met in comic book history, but if they did, it would probably be a very bad thing for everyone involved.

The two have met in artwork, however. A variant cover illustrated by Sungham Yune for 2019's Thanos #4, by Tini Howard and Ariel Olivetti, shows the red symbiote bonded with Thanos in a terrifying display towering over Adam Warlock. Fortunately for Warlock, and the rest of Marvel's characters, this «Carnage-ized» combination is just a fun illustration. The cover was part of a series of variant covers released in anticipation of the Absolute Carnage crossover event.
While Carnage and Thanos have never bonded in the comics, they have bonded in a Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon and were defeated by the combined efforts of Venom, Spider-Man and the Guardians. This happens in a single episode, but a combination between Thanos and Carnage is
