Oppo has been content with its Reno series devices representing the very best of what it can do in India. However, that duty is taken over by the Find X series, the latest iteration of which is the Find X5 Pro. Succeeding the highly-praised Find X3 from last year, the Find X5 Pro no more tries to do an experimental feature this year, and seems to have got its intentions right – be the best in the conventional smartphone space. Considering its €1300 price, it might never make it to India, but that doesn’t stop us from checking it out.
Because for the price, the Find X5 Pro does the “conventional top-of-the-line” flagship in its own flavour. It has got extreme focus on cameras this year, which is made evident by the MariSilicon and Hasselblad branding on its rear. It has got a unique design that should stand out from the iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones of the world.

The Find X5 Pro does not change much from the Find X3, which still is one of the prettiest phones around. Oppo has refined its considerably to enhance its appeal and in a world of a blingy iPhone 13 Pro and radical Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Find X5 Pro holds its own place. The gradual raise from the body to the camera hump is gorgeous to look at while the shape of the camera hump itself seems to be proportionally balanced – the cameras are aligned rightly.
