WARNING: Spoilers for Dark Ages ahead!
Marvel Comics is teasing the forthcoming Dark Ages #6 with a variant cover, revealed by the artist Mahmud Asrar on Twitter, showing Miles Morales rejoining the heroes of Earth with both the Venom and Carnage symbiotes under his control. While slowly revealed over the last few issues, Dark Ages #5's ending saw the Venom-Carnage monster attacking the group of heroes set to take a stand against Apocalypse's forces, with Pepper Potts and Storm blasting the symbiotes off of their host, shown to be an older, and terrified Miles Morales.
The ongoing Dark Ages mini-series — written by Tom Taylor with gorgeous art by Iban Coello — takes place in an alternate universe where the world's electricity was permanently turned off in a battle against the Unmaker. Now, 7 years later, the heroes of Earth have learned how to survive and even thrive in their new world, until it is revealed that the evil Apocalypse is attempting to reawaken the Unmaker to take its power and has been mind-controlling a number of Marvel heroes with the power of The Purple Man. With Apocalypse moving against the heroes by murdering Johnny Storm, they have been forced to advance on the villain's territory, causing Apocalypse to sick the Venom-Carnage-Miles chimera on them.

The variant cover for Dark Ages #6 — illustrated by Mahmud Asrar with color by Matt Wilson — depicts Miles still attached to the symbiotes, working with the Earth's heroes as an ally, shown alongside characters like Sue Storm, Laura Kinney, and Peter Parker. Peter serves as the narrator for most of Dark Ages and acted as Miles' mentor, so the reveal that the Venom-Carnage symbiote
