Brian Michael Bendis teams up with André Lima Araújo on a new graphic novel series titled Phenomena. Bendis is a New York Times bestselling author and a Peabody and Eisner Award-winning comics creator. He has become a trusted name over the decades amongst comics companies, fans, and casual moviegoers with his run on DC Comics' Legion of Super-Heroes, co-creation of Miles Morales, and contribution to Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Bendis is wrapping up his current run on Justice League with issue 75 The Death of the Justice League which is set to release in April 2022. Bendis also recently teased a new series at Dark Horse within Jinxworld.
Araújo has been around the comics scene crafting stories and bringing his art to Marvel series likeX-Men, Black Panther, and Fantastic Four. He's also well-known for his creator-owned projects like Man Plus. Now, Araújo and Bendis have an exciting new collaboration on the way.

Phenomena: The Golden City of Eyes is the first book in the three-part series from Abrams ComicArts. It tells the story of Bolden and his friend Spike, an accomplished warrior. They are both survivors of an incident that threatened the Earth many years before the opening of Phenomena. As they travel this place that was inspired by Bendis' and Araújo's hopes for our world, Bolden and Spike will team up with another orphan named Matilde and take on a landscape filled with magic and dangers.
