Following the recent Diablo 4 Patch 2.0.4, Blizzard received many bug reports from players claiming that their games were crashing for various reasons, including upon entering The Pit.

Diablo 4 Global Director of Community, Adam Fletcher has acknowledged this issue and has posted a temporary solution on the official Diablo 4 forums.

Here is a temporary fix for some players while we are work on an update.

Go to Diablo IV on your launcher.
Click on the cog wheel next to the ‘Play’ button.
Click on ‘Game Settings’.
Add the below command line argument to your Game Settings.
