The Chosen Season 5 Teaser Trailer Previews Jesus’ Last Supper
Season 5 teaser trailer for the hit biblical drama has finally been released, teasing the significant Last Supper sequence between Jesus and his apostles.
The next installment is scheduled to arrive in theaters in April 2025. During a four-week run in the U.S. and Canada, all episodes of The Chosen: Last Supper will be released in three parts – Part One (episodes 1, 2), Part Two (episodes 3, 4, 5), and Part Three (episodes 6, 7, 8), which will enable viewing of all episodes throughout the entire run.
“The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival,” reads the official loglinel. “Their power threatened, the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last.”

The video highlights the events leading up to Jesus’ last Passover meal with the his disciples, which serves as the final moments of freedom for the Son of God. The cast includes Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, Shahar Isaac as Simon Peter, Vanessa Benavente as Mary, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary Magdalene, Paras Patel as Matthew, Noah James as Andrew, George H. Xanthis as John, Luke Dimyan as Judas Iscariot, Shayan Sobhian as Big James, Jordan Walker Ross as Little James, Joey Vahedi as Thomas, Yoshi Barrigas as Philip, Alaa Safi as Simon Z. and more.
The Chosen is created and written by Dallas Jenkins. He is also serving as an executive producer, alongside Earl Seals, Ricky Ray Butler, Derral Eves, Chad Gundersen, Ryan Swanson, Chris Juen, Tyler Thompson, Brad Pelo, Mark Sourian, Matthew Faraci, Christopher Garabedian, Monica Zaragoza, Kevin Gillis, and Larry Jacobson. Since making its series debut in 2017, the historical drama has received positive reviews from critics and the audiences.
