Tangled Slug Brings Back The Iconic Snake Game With A Double Slug Twist!
Tangled Slug brings back the iconic Snake game we all used to adore from our ancient Nokias, and refreshes it with glowing pink lights and hungry slugs. This turn-based puzzle game takes you through exciting levels where you are an ever-growing slug chasing luminous mushrooms through tactical levels.
Enter the levels as a small slug. Choose your direction carefully and devour every mushroom that spawns within each level. As you progress through the stages, the shape of the levels becomes more demanding. Now you will have to carefully decide how to manoeuvre around the map.
The unique difference that sets this game apart from the iconic Snake, is the ability to travel over yourself. However, you can only move through sections of your body that are illuminated by the pink mushrooms you have consumed.
This pleasantly simple game even stunts a similar style to Snake, with catchy pixel visuals. Though you have to admit, Tangled Slug feels like the long-awaited upgrade with new ideas and more intricate movements.
Begin each level by sliding towards the first mushroom, with tiles of sparkling pink to indicate where the remainder will sprout. Once you have eaten a mushroom, another will spawn. Tiles, where mushrooms have been eaten, will make your body glow pink, these pink stripes then serve as tiles you can overlap again.
Each level has a unique shape to travel through as well as a limited number of moves you can make. Some levels are more challenging with the addition of a second Slug to simultaneously control too! Tangled Slug is challenging, strategic, yet perfectly casual making it a great game for commutes and downtime.
