The release date for Square Enix's upcoming Tactics Ogre: Reborn has leaked online, along with screenshots and new information about the changes made to the remaster. Tactics Ogre: Reborn is one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry, having originally been revealed in the Nvidia GeForce Now leak, alongside other games that were later confirmed, including Kingdom Hearts 4 and the Chrono Cross remaster.
The idea of there being a Tactics Ogre remake or remaster didn't seem that far-fetched, as Square Enix has been updating older games for modern platforms, with the most recent being Live A Live on Nintendo Switch. Tactics Ogre was originally released on the Super Nintendo in Japan in '95, as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. The game would later be ported to the Sega Saturn and original PlayStation, but most fans will be familiar with the 2010 remake of the game released for the PlayStation Portable. The GeForce Now leak was the first hint at a new remaster or remake of the game and was again indicated when a Tactics Ogre: Reborn page appeared on PSN, confirming the game's existence and new title.

Players can now get their first real look at Tactics Ogre: Reborn and it's once again the result of a leak. PSDeals has a page for Tactics Ogre: Reborn, listing a release date of November 11, 2022. The game is coming to PS4 and PS5, with a free upgrade option to the digital PS5 version for people who own the PS4 copy. The page also has screenshots showing the Tactics Ogre: Reborn in action, confirming it is an update of the PSP remake and not a brand new title.
