Recently, fans were given the chance to celebrate it with the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Fest event. It was livestreamed from Japan to viewers worldwide on YouTube, and came with a few surprises. The Kirby: Right Back At Ya anime is getting a remastered Blu-ray release, and fans also saw a new Kirby's Dream Buffet trailer at the concert, which included a release date for the digital title.
The Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Fest was announced back in March, just before the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It featured a large big band ensemble playing multiple medleys of music that sampled from the vast number of games the series has released in the years it's been around. Not only did the event look at Kirby's past, but it also gave a glimpse at the series' future.

During the celebratory event, viewers and attendees got to see an overview trailer for Kirby's Dream Buffet that revealed the game's three different modes while showcasing a few dedicated maps for all of them. An English version of the trailer was uploaded shortly after the concert ended. At the end, fans were given the release date of August 17. Interestingly, the Japanese trailer shows a price tag of ¥1,500 Japanese Yen, while the English trailer doesn't say if players will need to pay for the game or not.
