Superman: Legacy star has revealed her thoughts on the new Superman suit that David Corenswet will be wearing in the DC Studios movie.
Brosnahan spoke with Deadline while attending the SAG Awards this past Saturday. While talking to the outlet, the actress stated that she got to see the Superman suit that will be used in the DC Universe movie, which left quite an impression on her.
“I’m talking to some journalists, I’m reading a lot of comics — so many I hadn’t read before,” the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star explained. “It’s been really fun to dig into this universe … I got to see the suit — and I was blown away!”
The titular role in Superman: Legacy is being played by David Corenswet (Pearl, The Politician), while Lois Lane will be played by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan. They’re joined by Nicholas Hoult, Skyler Gisondo, María Gabriela De Faría, Sara Sampaio, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, and more. The superhero movie is set to release theatrically on July 11, 2025.
“Superman: Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
