The release date for has been revealed, with the Clown Prince of Crime’s playable debut coming by the end of the month.
A tweet from the game’s official account revealed that Season 1 — which includes the Joker as a playable character as well as new gear and environments — will come to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on Thursday, March 28. The post also includes a picture of this iteration of the iconic DC villain, which you can see below:
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts players in the shoes of the ragtag group of villains-turned-mercenaries known as the Suicide Squad. The game stars Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they’re tasked with saving the world by killing the Justice League. The game includes a litany of heroes, including Batman — voiced by the late Kevin Conroy — as well as other villains like Penguin, Brainiac, and more.
Released in early February, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was met with a divisive response from both critics and fans. Some criticized the game’s live-service approach while others also had issues with its ties to the Batman: Arkham series.
