The long-running Street Fighter franchise began back in 1987, and since then it has evolved to consistently push the envelope of competitive brawls. The franchise's most noteworthy characters, like the master martial artists Ryu and Chun-Li, have become icons of the fighting game genre and popular culture in general. The latest installment in the franchise, Street Fighter 5, launched back in 2016 and introduced some exciting new mechanics like the V-Gauge and a visible Stun Meter. The next game in the fighting game saga was announced in February following a Street Fighter 6 reveal countdown, and now PlayStation State of Play gave players a new look at the upcoming title.
Capcom's exciting new Street Fighter 6 trailershows off a host of exciting new characters, arenas and modes. The Fighting Ground will deliver a classic Street Fighter experience, with players going head-to-head in a variety of different fight types.
