It's been quite a while since an indie game has made quite as much of a splash as BlueTwelve Studio's Stray. Since the game was first announced at PlayStation's Future of Gaming event back in June of 2020, cat-loving gamers everywhere have been waiting patiently for its release. Now that it's here, it seems safe to say that it was well worth the wait.

Despite its short length, Stray has impressed both players and critics alike, with both its average critic rating and user score on Metacritic currently sitting above 80%. It's one of the most charming games of 2022 and a must-play title for anyone who loves animals. Better still, those with PS Plus Premium or Deluxe memberships can play the game for free from launch.
The very first onscreen prompt players get in Stray simply reads «Press Circle to Meow.» In truth, things don't ever really get too much more complicated than that, at least not when it comes to controlling the cute little playable kitty. That said, there are certain elements of the game that could perhaps be explained a little.
