Jedi: Survivor Can Repeat Star Wars Comics' Brilliant Qi'ra Trick
With the upcoming Jedi: Survivor about a year away, there are several theories about who Cal Kestis could encounter in the adventure, including the Crimson Dawn's new figurehead, Qi'ra. The teaser trailerreveals Jedi: Survivor will carry a darker tone as the crew of the Mantis have split, leaving Kestis and BD-1 to journey on their own and take on new challenges. Qi'ra is a cunning individual who was informed by Maul of the Sith lords who are in control of everything — Darth Sidious and Darth Vader — shortly after she killed the former figurehead of the Crimson Dawn. Former love interest of Han Solo, Qi'ra was trained by Maul to fight the Sith after Solo's timeline. Jedi: Survivorhas the potential to reveal Qi'ra's actions with the Crimson Dawn before her run-in with Boba Fett, which occurs between the events of Empire Strikes Backand Return of the Jedi. The criminal leader's actions before Maul's death might shed some more light on Qi'ra's plan to eliminate Darth Sidious and his apprentice.
