The boss fights of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin are some of the hardest challenges that the series has had to offer in the past few years, and Elemental Core is amongst them. It can be a tough battle to face since it occurs in the first few hours of the game and can feel extremely hectic, thanks to the multiple targets and changing phases.

Luckily, we have some great tips and recommendations for how to take down this elemental menace. With some knowledge and a bit of practice, you'll be able to take down this monster in no time.
Elemental Core is the boss you'll face at the end of the Natural Distortion story mission, located in the Refrin Wetlands. Once you've come to the Cradle of Radiant Reefs, you'll know that you're at the end of the level.
You'll encounter the boss once you've made your way through the Final Fantasy 13-esque area, messing with the weather to open up new paths.
As you'll quickly notice, Elemental Core appears to be made up of a Fire Elemental and a Water Elemental. You'll be familiar with these monsters and their tactics from earlier in the level, but the Elemental Core is quite a bit stronger, and acts a bit differently.
It's a good idea to have some elemental damage in this fight, specifically lightning and water. For this reason, Black Mage is perfect - though Mage on its own can hold its own. Red Mage is also an option if you like using swords, but you'll lose access to water damage. Red Mage does, however, gain access to Shell, which is a perfect spell for reducing damage in this fight.
