Berserker is one of the many advanced jobs in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Basic jobs are determined by the weapon Jack wields — a spear for a Lancer, gloves for a Pugilist. But once going deep in several skill trees, advanced jobs are unlocked. These new jobs aren’t as restrictive with weapons. For example, the iconic Dragoon could choose to use martial arts, or Red Mage acts as a sturdy guard.
While advancing towards the Berserker, players will at first find themselves traveling to Dimensions beyond places associated with the first Final Fantasy. Key Berserker weapons will be located either inside or by beating Dimensions 14 and 2. Longtime fans will quickly notice that these dungeons are inspired by locations in Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy II, respectively.

Advanced jobs are gained at the bottom of standard job skill trees, and players will need to go down these paths on at least two jobs. This means players will likely need to grind to level 12 or more on two jobs, either via combat experience points or spending Anima Shards on instant levels. Getting other jobs first — like Dragoon or Warrior — will delay unlocking Berserker by an equal amount of extra levels.
To gain Berserker, players will need to level up certain skills from two starter jobs, Swordsman and Marauder. Swordsman is Jack’s starting class which makes it a good idea to focus on getting Berserker from a low level. Marauder is first gained by clearing the second-story dungeon, Pravoka Seagrot, which will drop the first axe.
