Bethesda Game Studios’ latest patch for Starfield is live on Steam in beta form for PC. Those interested in trying it out can go to the game in their Library, click on Properties and select it in the Betas tab. It’s a separate download from the base game and adds support for Nvidia DLSS.
Other support features include Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), Reflex Low Latency and Frame Generation. Players can now also consume food and drinks when finding them instead of picking them up and going into their inventory to do the same.
The patch also fixes several issues with memory, including memory leaks, and improves performance and stability. Stealth is also adjusted to be more forgiving, while an issue that could prevent players from firing their weapons has also been fixed. Also, if you ever lost your home ship, that should no longer happen.
