The upcoming Jude Law-led Disney Plus series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew already has plenty going for it. But now it's got a pair of Oscar-winning directors on board for one of its episodes. At this point, one could probably say that these particular directors have done, well, Everything Everywhere all at Once.
Skeleton Crew officially wrapped filming earlier this year, effectively hammering home the promise that the series will premiere in 2023. But aside from that update and the knowledge that Law would play a key role in the show, Lucasfilm has been playing things pretty close to the chest. The most known at the moment is that it's set after Return of the Jedi and that it will focus on a ragtag group of kids who get «lost in the Star Wars universe.» But now, one more bit of info has finally been revealed.

One Take News reports that Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the Academy Award-winning directors known together as the Daniels, are on board to direct at least one episode of Skeleton Crew. The Daniels were the driving force behind A24's Oscar powerhouse Everything Everywhere All at Once, which should perk up the ears of even many who may not have taken note of the upcoming series otherwise. Since the series has completed filming, it stands to reason that the duo has already directed their episode. But what can audiences expect?
Everything Everywhere All at Once is seen by many as an absurdist masterpiece, quickly wowing viewers throughout 2022 before being declared the most-awarded film of all time with its slew of accolades.
