Star Wars KOTOR Remake Publisher Refuses To Comment On Cancellation Rumours
The Star Wars KOTOR Remake isn't in a good place. So far, we've only seen a short teaser trailer that doesn't really tell us anything about the game. Then, the project was taken away from its previous developer, Aspyr, reportedly over concerns about the game's slow development. Now, as yet another year passes with no KOTOR Remake updates - aside from the announcement trailer being taken down by Sony - many fear that the game has been shelved entirely.
To make matters worse, Embracer Group and Saber have no comment on fears that the game has been cancelled. For whatever reason, the studios won't even confirm to the public that the game hasn't been cancelled, in what is yet another bizarre turn in the remake's troubled development.

Journalist Mike Straw of Insider Gaming confirmed that both companies declined to comment on KOTOR cancellation fears, continuing their policy of silence on the project.
This isn't the first time that the companies have refused to comment on the matter. Back in May, as it was widely reported that the remake might never launch at all, Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors dodged a question from an investor on the current status of the KOTOR Remake. This only served to exacerbate fears that it would never see the light of day, as has the recent developments surrounding the trailer's deletion on the PlayStation YouTube channel.
Curiously, Sony has been willing to comment on this, arguing that the trailer's removal doesn't necessarily mean the game has been shelved.
