Back in 2019, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order brought new life to the Star Wars gaming franchise (outside of Lego, of course). Fallen Order took influence from SoulsBorne titles and added tricky gameplay, awesome set pieces, and a gripping narrative — and made a fantastic game.
At the the Game Awards 2022, we finally got to see a trailer for the sequel — Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — after it was announced back in January 2022. You can check out the trailer below:
Judging from the trailer, it certainly looks to be wearing the dark-sequel trope. Cal looks older and wiser, and the Empire are more on his tail than ever. We just hope for a dual lightsaber in our fight back!

The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor release date is 28th April 2023, it has now been revealed by EA.
Initially, the game was slated for release in March. However, the developer shared on Twitter that to ensure «the level of polish our fans deserve», the game has been delayed by a month. It's a shame for those wanting it for a specific occasion, but we think it'll be worth the wait.

There are two versions of the game: the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition of the game grants you access to the Jedi Survival Cosmetic Pack with cosmetics inspired by the recent Obi-Wan Kenobi series (Hermit Costume, Combustion Blaster, and Hermit Lightsaber).
The Deluxe Edition of the game comes with the New Hero and Galactic Hero Cosmetic Packs along with the Jedi Survival
